Wanda Berton-Heyerichs has lived in Greater Sudbury for most of her life and currently lives in Ward 9. Her professional background spans community development, human resources, mental health, corrections, administration, and supervisory roles. She has worked with Canadian Blood Services, the Canadian Mental Health Association, and the Northeast Mental Health Centre. Wanda holds diplomas in Human Resources Management and Correctional Services from Cambrian College, as well as an International Montessori Teacher Diploma in Early Childhood from NAMC. A mother and grandmother, she has lived, worked, and raised her family in different parts of Sudbury.

Kathleen Rochon (she/her) has called West Nipissing home for nearly 20 years and currently serves as Mayor of the Municipality of West Nipissing. Before becoming mayor, she worked in economic and community development and ran her own graphic design agency. Her community involvement has included serving as president of the Chamber of Commerce and on the Municipal Economic Development Advisory Committee, as well as working with organizations including Friends of Mashkinonje Park and Sturgeon River House Museum. As mayor, she has focused on strengthening municipal leadership, building relationships with community partners, and moving forward long-needed infrastructure and community projects.
