The Campaign Power Hour - Planning a Campaign Event

Join PoliticsNOW and a group of women running for municipal councils across Ontario and start checking things off your task list!

What is a power hour?

It's setting aside one hour to get one thing entirely accomplished, from beginning to end. We will gather together once a week on Zoom with one specific task we will all do together. Amanda Kingsley Malo, founder of PoliticsNOW and bonafide campaigning expert, will be there to help and assist you in any way you need. Everyone else on the call will be doing their own thing, cheering you on and keeping you accountable as you chase your goal.

We're stronger together.

We know running for office can feel lonely at times. So let's fix that. In this group, we're welcoming women candidates from across Ontario so that we can help and support each other. Feeling stuck on an idea? Looking for a template? Need to borrow some creativity? With this many women in one spot, ideas are bound to flow. Let's make magic happen together. Let's build community. Let's get elected.

This week's topic.

This week, we're diving into planning a campaign event - from top to bottom. We'll give you the tools to plan a quick, simple, and easy event to help you meet your community. Then you'll spend the rest of the power hour focusing on making that event your own, with the help and advice of women who are running for municipal council across the province.
