Introducing the 2026 PoliticsNOW Campaign Hub

You Filed Your Nomination Papers. Now What?

Introducing the 2026 PoliticsNOW Campaign Hub

You did it. You're officially running.

If you filed your nomination papers for the 2026 municipal election, congratulations. Seriously.

Putting your name on a ballot is a big deal. It takes courage, commitment, and a willingness to put yourself out there in your community.

And now you have to actually run a campaign.

That's where things get interesting, because once you're officially a candidate, the questions start coming fast.

  • How do I build my campaign team?

  • What should I actually be doing right now?

  • How do I find volunteers?

  • How much money do I need to raise?

  • What should I be posting?

  • How do I talk to the media?

  • What happens when someone says something awful about me online?

  • Am I doing this right?!

And sometimes, you don't need another three-hour campaign school. You need a 10-minute answer to the question you're dealing with today.

That's why we built the 2026 PoliticsNOW Campaign Hub.

Welcome to the Campaign Hub

At PoliticsNOW, we've spent years supporting women as they navigate municipal campaigns.

We've seen the same thing again and again: there's a big difference between learning about campaigning and actually campaigning.

You can attend a campaign school, take pages of notes, and feel ready to go. Then you're suddenly three weeks into the campaign and dealing with a completely different set of questions because campaigns don't happen in a neat, predictable order.

You learn as you go.

The Campaign Hub is designed with that reality in mind.

It's a free, private resource for women who have officially filed to run for municipal office in Ontario's 2026 municipal election, giving candidates a place to find practical training and support throughout the campaign.

So What’s Inside?

🎥 Short, practical campaign training: The Training Library is a growing collection of short videos covering specific campaign topics, questions, and challenges. Most videos are 5–15 minutes long, so you can find what you need, watch it, and get back to your campaign. There's no required order and no giant curriculum to work your way through. We'll continue adding new training throughout the campaign as new topics come up and candidates tell us what they need.

📄 Campaign tools and resources: Good campaign training should come with things you can actually use. The Campaign Hub includes practical worksheets, templates, checklists, and other resources to help candidates put ideas into action. And PoliticsNOW already has a growing library of free public campaign resources, from social media tools and campaign planning guides to fundraising resources and communications templates, so we'll connect candidates to those resources from the Hub, too.

🎙️ Live Campaign Q&A: Campaigns don't always come with straightforward questions—and sometimes you just need to talk something through. Throughout the campaign, we'll host informal live Campaign Q&A sessions where candidates can bring their questions, challenges, and "what do I do now?" moments. These aren't formal workshops — they're opportunities to ask questions, hear from other candidates, and get practical guidance while you're actually in the middle of running your campaign.

A Resource That Grows With You

The Campaign Hub will grow throughout the campaign.

As candidates encounter new challenges, ask new questions, and move into new phases of the election, we'll continue adding resources that respond to what you actually need. Because the questions you have on September 1 might be very different from the questions you have on October 1.

You don't need to know everything on day one.

You just need somewhere to turn when you don't.

The Campaign Hub Is Free

The Campaign Hub is available at no cost to women who have officially filed to run for municipal office in the 2026 Ontario municipal election.

Because the Hub is designed specifically for women who are currently candidates, we'll verify your candidacy before providing access.

Once you're verified, we'll send you everything you need to get started.

You Don't Have to Figure It Out Alone

Running for office is a big undertaking.

There will be days when everything goes according to plan.

There will also be days when your volunteer disappears, your website breaks, your social media comments get weird, and you find yourself wondering why you ever thought this was a good idea.

That's campaigning.

You don't need to run the perfect campaign. You don't need to know everything. And you don't need to do it exactly the way someone else did it.

You need the tools, knowledge, support, and confidence to run your campaign in your community.

That's what PoliticsNOW is here for.

We're so glad you're running.

Now let's get to work.
