There are a variety of reasons for this, from systemic barriers to outright sexism and misogyny. But there are also strategies and tips that can help women overcome these challenges and pursue their political ambitions.

1. Build a Strong Support Network

Building a strong support network is essential for women running for municipal office. Here are some tips to achieve it:
